William L. Thomas began his photographic career after studying under Ansel Adams at a workshop in Yosemite 1974. Adam's influence can be seen in Thomas' use of light. He also has kept with the traditional large and medium format cameras and traditional darkroom printing which give the photographs an inimitable warmth and authenticity.
