Stoneware charger from Biot, France, vintage 70s. Glazed in glossy black over the whole, the horse image is drawn on the glaze and then hand-carved and drilled into the clay surface. Art Brut design with chisel and drilled cut-out linear design. The whole in long linear contours and boldy drawn horse. The Tray is available as a centerpiece dish or can be wall hung with a drill-through on the back foot to allow a wire. The measurements are 18.5" in diameter.
