The design is of a peony bush jutting from rocks at the base. The peony blossoms are multiple shades of maroon and pink. The leaves are green with lighter green tips. There are also a couple of other smaller blue flowers. A scalloped turquoise band at the mouth frames the composition. The underside is enameled in a cobalt blue. The thin foot is copper.<br <br MEASUREMENTS<br 4 7/8 in (12.4 cm) diameter x 7/8 in (2.2ccm) deep. Weighs 4.3 oz. <br <br CONDITION<br There are a few small enamel chips on the underside around the rim. The front of the dish has no breaks, dents, cracks, or chips. The colors are bright and show little wear. There is pitting in the enamels from manufacture.<br <br An old Chinese cloisonne dish to add to a collection or give your home an Asian touch. It gives a pop of color.
