About the artist: Born November 17, 1922 in the village of Razdolye (now the Kirovograd region). Graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Art School (1955). Teachers by profession - M. Pogribnyak, I. Fedorenko, V. Skornyak. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He worked in the field of easel painting. Major works: a portrait of an assistant steelmaker Gubarev (1960); "People of Communist Labor" (1961); First Snow (1963); portrait of the honored steelmaker of Ukraine P. Doroshenko (1967); "Nurse" (1969) and others. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1958, all-union since 1961.
