Vintage 10kt Plated Sterling Ruby Ring, Sz. 7.75, Signed F.C. The ring is marked ste rling and 10kt - 10kt plating over sterling with weight of app. 5.42 gr. The stone is an appx. 2.75 ctw created ruby - it is not glass but a crystal grown in a lab with the same properties as ruby. The ring is appx. 12.9mm down the finger and tapers to appx. 4mm at the back of the finger. Good conidtion with some wear. Can be polished too or replated by your jeweler. The stone is clear and clear as created rubies are. Age is estimated at 1940's-1950's. (W91121.1X1 SS7180 J Ld 6/13/22).
