About the artist: Famous Crimean painter. In 1938 he graduated from the Moscow Art Institute as a professor V.A. Tabor. Member of All-Union, Russian and Moscow exhibitions. Head of the Studio of Military Artists at the Political Administration of the Main Directorate of the Border Troops of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs. Personal exhibition was held in Yalta in 1958. He gained the greatest fame in the 1960s as a talented marine painter, whose works were distinguished by a rich palette of colors, vivid color impressionistic solutions. The artist's works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Sevastopol Art Museum and in many other regional museums in Russia, as well as in private collections.
