First cast-iron mills Peugeot freres coffee grinder 1840/1870

Description

Starting in 1840 Peugeot started producing cast-iron coffee mills to grind large quantities of coffee beans , an added bonus was that these mills could also double as grain or sugar grinders. In 1810, brothers Jean-Pierre and Jean-Frederic Peugeot converted the family flour mill into a steel foundry, dubbing the new business with their surname.
