French modernist desk lamp made in the 1940's by Jumo , an important lamp making company from France who used the best designer of their time , it is not know who is the creator but there is some similarity with the Jielde from Doumerc .Jumo is know primarily for the Bolidus lamp and the Raymond Loewy's desk lamp but they produced some of the most amazing and innovative lamp until the 1970's. The articulation is made so you can turn on a wide angle the different part without stress to the wire insuring a safe use. The patina stand beautifully in comparison to the new production mainly manufactured in China , the metal has a warmth that mass produced copy cannot duplicate , the design itself is so much more graceful and elegant adding soul to your interior.
