With a portrait frontis. With a tipped-in three page autograph letter addressed to 'Longmore' & singed by Colonel Charles Hay (then commanding the 19th., 1st, York North Riding Regiment), dated 14 August 1851. Cont. full leather by 'Hatchards & son', with gilt ruling, marbled boards and all edges gilt. The Armorial bookplate of 'Sir Thomas Longmore' to front pastedown of each volume. Spines rubbed. (8)
