Don Lind, Vance Brand, and William B. Lenoir autographed commemorative cover honoring the third and final manned Skylab mission. The cover features a navy blue U.S. Navy Recovery Force cachet for the Atlantic recovery of the Skylab 3 crew, with a Norfolk, Virginia postal cancellation dated February 8, 1974, and an affixed 10¢ Andrew Jackson stamp. Each astronaut has signed clearly in black or blue ink along the top and center of the envelope.

Don Lind (1930–2022) was a NASA astronaut and space physicist who served as a member of the astronaut support crew for Apollo missions and later flew aboard Spacelab-3 (STS-51-B) in 1985.

Vance Brand (b. 1931) flew as Command Module Pilot of the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project in 1975 and later commanded three Space Shuttle missions.

William B. Lenoir (1939–2010) was a mission specialist aboard STS-5, the first operational Space Shuttle flight, and played key roles in early shuttle operations. This cover brings together three key contributors to NASA’s spaceflight programs during a pivotal era.
