Outstanding matched set of Soviet and Russian space program artifacts. The first is an original military order dated September 3, 1979, issued from Star City, recognizing Lieutenant Colonel-Engineer Nikolai Alekseevich Dmitrochenko for 25 years of service in the USSR Armed Forces. The document is boldly signed by General-Major of Aviation Andrian Nikolaev, the third human to orbit Earth—as well as General-Major-Engineer Rumyantsev.

Included with the citation is a Russian-language version of the ESA BR-106 brochure titled “Missions to Space with Russia – EUROMIR 94”, commemorating the landmark ESA–Roscosmos collaboration on the MIR space station. The rear inside cover is neatly signed in purple ink by cosmonauts Viktor Afanasyev and Yuri Malenchenko, both of whom flew missions tied to the Euromir program.
