Basketball autograph collection featuring signed cards and album pages from several legendary figures in collegiate and professional basketball history. Included is a signed 5 x 3” autograph card from John Wooden, a folded paper slip signed by Nat Holman, along with a larger album page boldly signed by Julius Erving, widely known as “Dr. J.”
The John Wooden card is inscribed “Many thanks for your interest” and signed in blue ink. The Nat Holman signature is inscribed to "Mitchel" and accompanied by a JSA authentication sticker. The larger Julius Erving album page features a quick "Dr. J" signature.
Good condition overall with moderate age wear to the Holman signature.
John Wooden (1910–2010) is regarded as one of the greatest coaches in sports history, leading UCLA to ten NCAA national championships and developing the famed “Pyramid of Success.” Nat Holman (1896–1995) was one of basketball’s early pioneers, starring with the Original Celtics before becoming the legendary longtime coach at City College of New York, where he led CCNY to both the NCAA and NIT championships in 1950. Julius Erving revolutionized modern basketball with his athletic style and above-the-rim play, becoming one of the ABA and NBA’s most iconic stars and helping popularize the professional game during the 1970s and 1980s.
