Shirley Temple Black autographed 8 x 10” black and white photograph depicting the legendary child star in a classic studio portrait from her early film career. The photograph is inscribed in blue marker along the upper right corner: “To Shirley Currier – Best wishes – Shirley Temple Black – 1994.”
Fine condition with a slight fingerprint smear affecting the “B” in “Best,” otherwise presenting well.
Shirley Temple Black (1928–2014) was one of the most famous child actors in motion picture history. Rising to international fame in the 1930s with films such as “Bright Eyes,” “Curly Top,” and “Heidi,” Temple became a cultural icon during the Great Depression and one of Hollywood’s most beloved young performers.
