Included are a boldly signed black-and-white portrait photograph, a signed MGM-related group photograph magazine page, several handwritten thank-you and greeting notes signed “Jimmy,” and a signed holiday card.

James “Jimmy” Stewart (1908–1997) was one of the most beloved actors in American film history, starring in classic films including “It’s a Wonderful Life,” “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington,” “Rear Window,” “Vertigo,” and “The Philadelphia Story.” Known for his distinctive voice and everyman screen persona, Stewart won the Academy Award for Best Actor and enjoyed a career spanning more than five decades. Beyond Hollywood, Stewart was also a decorated military aviator who served during World War II and retired from the United States Air Force Reserve as a brigadier general.
