Robert Morgan and Matthew Modine autographed pair of photographs relating to the legendary B-17 Flying Fortress “Memphis Belle” and its enduring place in aviation and film history. Included is a 10 x 8” photograph signed by Colonel Robert Morgan, the real-life pilot of the famed bomber, along with a 7 x 10” photograph signed and inscribed by actor Matthew Modine, who portrayed Morgan in the 1990 Warner Bros. film “Memphis Belle.”

Colonel Robert K. Morgan (1918–2004) was the pilot of the B-17 Flying Fortress “Memphis Belle,” one of the first American heavy bombers to complete 25 combat missions over Europe during World War II. Morgan and his crew became symbols of American air power and wartime morale, with the aircraft later becoming one of the most recognized bombers of the Second World War.

Matthew Modine is an American actor best known for portraying Robert Morgan in the 1990 film “Memphis Belle,” a dramatization inspired by the famed bomber crew and their final combat mission. Modine has appeared in numerous acclaimed productions throughout his career, including “Full Metal Jacket” and the television series “Stranger Things.”
