Details:
Collection of five original 19th century New Hampshire land deeds, each printed or manuscript “Know All Men by These Presents” conveyance documenting transfers of real property between private parties. The group spans multiple decades of the 1800s and features a mix of printed forms with extensive handwritten entries and fully manuscript deeds, all bearing period signatures and endorsements.
The deeds include typical legal language of the era outlining consideration paid, property boundaries, rights of way, and “to have and to hold” clauses. Several retain original witness signatures and notations, with some bearing embossed or inked acknowledgments by local officials. Together, the group provides a strong representation of early New Hampshire property transactions and 19th century legal documentation.
Two deeds exhibit full separations along original fold lines. The remaining three are in overall good condition, showing expected age toning, edge wear, and fold lines.
