Simon Wiesenthal autographed First Day Cover honoring the International Court of Justice, postmarked February 13, 1961, and additionally accompanied by an original Nevada State Bank check made payable to Wiesenthal and endorsed by him on the reverse in black ink. The signed check, dated May 31, 1998, was issued to Wiesenthal in the amount of $5.00 for postage reimbursement and includes his highly desirable bank endorsement signature on the verso. The cover itself bears a large and bold fountain pen signature across the lower portion.

Simon Wiesenthal (1908–2005) was an Austrian Holocaust survivor, writer, and internationally renowned Nazi hunter who dedicated his life to documenting Holocaust crimes and bringing perpetrators to justice after World War II. Through the Jewish Documentation Center in Vienna, Wiesenthal helped locate and identify hundreds of Nazi war criminals, becoming one of the most important figures in postwar human rights advocacy and Holocaust remembrance.
