Scarce "Fat Bottomed Girls” fold-out poster signed in blue felt tip marker by Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor at the bottom left hand corner. Measuring approximately 12" x 35" open and in very good condition, with scattered wear including some creasing and minor edge wear. Obtained in person. Accompanied by the original album cover and vinyl record and a full letter of authenticity from Beckett/BAS. Originally issued as the fold-out poster insert to Queen’s 1978 “Jazz” album, this piece features the now-iconic “Fat Bottomed Girls” bicycle race imagery that became one of the band’s most recognizable and controversial visual releases of the era. Vintage signed Queen material from the late-1970s “Jazz” period remains especially desirable among collectors, particularly large-format display pieces tied directly to classic songs such as “Fat Bottomed Girls” and “Bicycle Race.”
Provenance
This piece was recently authenticated by Beckett/BAS, and a full letter from Beckett/BAS is expected to arrive approximately 4–6 weeks after the auction’s conclusion.
