Fantastic black-and-white 8" x 10" press photo signed in black ink by Grateful Dead members Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Billy Kreutzmann, Mickey Hart, Vince Welnick, and Bruce Hornsby; one of the band members has inscribed "To Harold" at the upper lefthand corner. Archivally matted and framed to an overall size of 17" x 16." In fine condition. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from JSA. A superb late-era Grateful Dead group image dating to 1989, a transitional and increasingly celebrated period for the band following the success of “Built to Last” and renewed mainstream popularity at the close of the 1980s. The striking black-and-white promotional portrait, credited to noted photographer Ken Friedman and bearing original GD Productions press information from San Rafael, California, captures an impressive lineup with bold signatures spread prominently throughout the image. Fully signed Grateful Dead photographs of this quality and presentation remain exceptionally desirable among serious Dead collectors.
