Description:The print depicts Hanatori of the house of Ogi-ya; the inset at top left shows a scenery at Tsukuda. - The SIGNED, and almost finished preparatory drawing (shita-e) is intended for the same series as the print. An oblong inset in the upper part of the drawing shows a landscape scenery, - an evening snowscape of the village of Komandome. The title of the booklet on the floor reads: "Women as lovely as fairies". The series title cartouche of this otherwise completed, and even SIGNED drawing is still empty. - Signed preparatory drawings are EXTREMELY RARE as in most cases they have not survived!

Condition:The print: two backed wormholes along margins, else the print and the drawing in fine condition.
