German, late 19th/20th century, three in the form of hiking bears with backpacks and walking sticks, two with painted mouths, the fourth in the form of a seated bear with a back basket and holding a brass thimble, largest 7 x 3-1/4 x 6-3/8 in.

Provenance: Collection of Steve Stewart, Lake Lure, North Carolina
