Description
John Lennon 'Rock 'N' Roll' solo LP released by Apple Records (1975). 6th and final solo studio album. It's an album of rock & roll songs from late 1950s & early 1960s covered by Lennon. The LP happened partly because of a copyright dispute, when in 1969 Lennon's song "Come Together" (by The Beatles) was accused of borrowing lyrics from Chuck Berry's "You Can't Catch Me." As part of the settlement, Lennon agreed to record songs owned by one of Berry's publishers.
