Description
AAA5011The oil painting on wood titled In the circle of diversity presents a dynamic and emotionally charged composition that explores the complexity and vitality of human interaction. Set against a backdrop of warm ochres, yellows, and pale whites, the figures in this artwork are rendered in expressive, textured strokes of reddish-brown, suggesting a deep connection to the earth and to each other. The title hints at both literal and metaphorical interpretationwhat we see is not simply a group of bodies, but a representation of the human collective, vibrant in its differences and bound together in movement. The artist has arranged the figures in a loosely circular formation, with limbs extended, bent, and reaching in various directions. The figures seem to be in motionsome standing, others kneeling or stretching across the surfaceeach one caught in its own unique pose. Despite the lack of detailed features, the gestural quality of each form conveys individuality and action. One figure reaches toward another, a gesture that could symbolize assistance, curiosity, or connection. Another arches backward in an almost acrobatic display, evoking a sense of physical strength and openness. Some lie prone, while others seem to float above or lean into their companions. This diversity of posture reflects the diversity of human experiences. It suggests a community where each member plays a distinct role, yet all are interlinked by proximity and shared space. The circle in the title refers not only to their arrangement but to the symbolic cycle of life, relationships, and interconnected destinies. There is no single focal point; instead, the eye travels from one figure to the next, caught in the rhythm of their gestures and the subtle interplay of light and shadow. The palette reinforces this complexity. While the figures are grounded in dark, earthy tones, the background glows with golden and cream-colored light. This contrast highlights the physicality of the bodies while also elevating themliterally and metaphoricallyinto a space of reflection and transcendence. The background does not depict a realistic setting but rather a dreamlike atmosphere that could represent memory, imagination, or collective consciousness. The use of impasto technique adds depth and dimension, making the figures emerge almost sculpturally from the surface of the cardboard.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: In the circle of diversity* ARTISTS: Vadim Aksenov* SIZE: 26x37 cm/'10.23x14.56 inches' * MEDIUM: oil, wood* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this productAbout the artist: Aksenov Vadim Yurievich.
