About the artist: Born on June 13, 1935, in the city of Yenakiyevo, Donetsk region. Graduated from the Rostov Art School (1957); Kharkov Art and Industry Institute (1965). Teachers in the specialty: E. Charskaya, I. Charskaya, V. Mironenko, G. Bondarenko, S. Solodovnik, P. Suponin. Schedule. The main industry is print and easel graphics. The artist's creative style is based on constructivism. The author of landscapes of Slobozhanshchina, still lifes, bookplates in the techniques of etching, linocut, gouache drawing. Illustrations for books and book signs are distinguished by their laconicism, gravitation towards antiquity, baroque forms of the image, symbolic richness. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1995). He taught at the Kharkov Art School (1966-2010). He was engaged in creative work. Participated in exhibitions: republican, international (since 1966). Major works: Carpathians, Blue Mountains (1973), Blessing for the Day (1973), After the Rain (1975), Autumn Evening (1977), Transfiguration (2000); painting - Misty Morning (2006), End of May, Apple and Cherry, Bright Bush, Compliance, Country Tale (2007), Bright Morning, Return to Ukraine, Gulyaypole (2009); graphics - ex-librises by I. Wilde (1975), T. Shevchenko (1984; 1992), G. Skovoroda (1997), M. Voronoi, Yu. Poyarkova (1999), E. Kushnareva (2000), V. Yushchenko, V. Burmaks (2001); After a Thunderstorm (Sen'kin), Hot Evening in the Donets, Still Life with an Umbrella (1975), Still Life with an Oriental Circle (1977), Still Life with a Red Bag (1981). The works are kept in the Kharkov Art Museum. Lived and worked in the city of Kharkov.
