Crystalline Glazed Studio Ceramic Vase, Signed

Description

A tall studio ceramic vase of ovoid form with a tapered base, a short neck, and a flat rim. The vessel features a complex macro-crystalline glaze with large, radial zinc-silicate crystals in varying shades of amber and gold set against a dark brown and burgundy ground. The entire piece has a uniform high-gloss finish. The underside of the base is hand-signed in ink by the artist David and dated 2017. The base also retains a circular silver foil provenance label for the Rubin Collection and a white inventory sticker marked #75. Two unglazed crescent-shaped areas on the foot are kiln support marks from the firing process.
