Attributed to the French prisoner Johann De La Paz, Norman Cross Prison, Huntingdonshire, England, late 18th/early 19th century
The hinged lid with a pierced central reserve surrounded by pierced, scrolled and incised borders, opens to a pale pink paper-lined interior.
Height 2 1/4 inches, width 8 1/4 inches, depth 6 3/4 inches.
