Description
This pair of 19th-century French gilt bronze candelabra features four scrolling candle arms surrounding a central fluted column with a foliate finial. The central section is designed as a classical urn with a pierced rim and ring handles, mounted upon a circular openwork base. Each candelabrum rests on a square rouge marble plinth decorated with gilt bronze foliate casting and supported by four peg feet. The gilt finish displays varying tones across the cast floral and scrollwork details. - h. 23.5 x w. 9 x d. 8 in.
