Second Skin is the fist serie of Miguel Vallinas' surreal images that reconsider the human form. Second Skin explores the concept of identity and personal choice with a connection with different animals.

An assortment of animals, ranging from ducks, bears, birds, dogs and cats became humans mixing their personalities.

"Skin vs. Skin 5" 2016 features a rhinoceros and an elephant humans placed in a green park in front of a building in the middle of the night.

With this series Vallinas' intends to prompt viewers to reflect on who they think they are, what they want to be, and what they truly are. Vallinas' concept seeks to find answers, triggering thoughts about identity and appearance. "˜the focus is produced by the unacceptance of that which we observe being something else,'
