Offered for sale is a signed limited edition print by noted Oklahoma Cherokee artist Bert Seabourn.
This piece is from 1983 and is hand signed by the artist.
Edition number 456/1000.
The print is in excellent condition. It appears as clean and vibrant as the day it was created, having remained in its original gallery frame since purchase. Colors are strong and unfaded with no visible foxing, staining, or damage.
The artwork features Seabourn's signature dreamlike Native imagery, blending spiritual portraiture with flowing natural elements and symbolic bird forms "” a style that helped establish him as one of Oklahoma's most respected Native American artists.
About the Artist:
Bert Seabourn (b. 1933) is a nationally recognized Cherokee artist whose work has received numerous honors, including the Oklahoma Governor's Art Award. His paintings have been exhibited widely and are held in both public and private collections, including international collections. He was selected into a Master Artist category by the Five Civilized Tribes Museum and has had a career spanning decades.
Framing:
The print itself appears as pristine and new as the day it was made and remains in its original black gallery frame with white matting. The frame does show paint chipping in multiple areas consistent with age and display wear. Structurally sound. Paint loss could easily be touched up if desired, but it has been left in original condition for accuracy. See photos.
