About the Artist:

Mischa Kallis was a prominent Art Director for Universal Studios and a celebrated painter. His private pottery studio was located in the historic Kallis House in Studio City, CA, designed by the legendary architect Rudolph Schindler. Because Kallis produced ceramics primarily for a private circle of friends and fellow artists, his pottery is rarely seen on the open market and is highly sought after by collectors of Southern California MCM design.
