Frank Doerner immigrated to Canada in 1920 and started the Waterloo Metal Co. They manufactured a whole host of metal items including golf clubs, TV antennas, fishing poles, and auto parts. During the 1940's and 50's they began making office furniture and office chairs.
He had an eye for design and a skill for working with metal.
This chair was built in the 1970's and is in astoundingly amazing condition!!
