This is a rare, Monumental pair of mid-century 32" table lamps. Feature exquisite Japanese Moriage Porcelain in a vibrant oxblood red. The urn-shaped bodies are decorated with intricate, hand-applied "˜piled -up' enamel (Moriage) creating a three- dimensional, textured floral design in brilliant gold. These lamps have "Sun- Lite" brass sockets are mounted on a heavy, ornate solid brass footed bases, each featuring what looks to be a "crescent moon" mark on the underside - a hallmark of the CRESCENT BRASS MANUFACTURING CO. Which provided high end hardware for luxury designers like Fredrick Cooper and Marbro. These are a pair of Vintage Lamps that are in almost pristine condition for being used. The shades were old, they were replaced with beautiful brand with new $180 Spring Crest Ivory French pleated shades. The lamps have their original gold-toned SPT-1 or SPT-2 lamp wire, both lamps are operating at the time of this listing.
