A 19th century French fariniere, made of walnut with nicely detailed hand-carved floral relief on front panel. Good craftsmanship with dovetailed construction. Waxed patina. From Provence, a fariniere is a decorative sliding paneled box used for storing flour. Circa 1850-1860
