Tray art became popular during the Industrial Revolution when craftsmen hand-painted rural landscapes and farm animals to decorate metal trays, tea trays, and other utensils.
This tray has a black background with a symmetrical and beautiful gold vine floral border. It is a typical Victorian design style.
