Large Hand-Carved Statue of an Eagle, Black Forest ca. 1900

An expressive naturalistic carved large eagle sculpture. The eagle is sitting on a rock and has spread its wings. The wingspan of the wings is 39.4' inches (100 cm). The carving is richly detailed and was created at the end of the 19th century in southern Germany.
