1930's French Art Deco Terracotta Sculpture, Signed Bargas

Description

This fabulous French Art Deco patinated terra cotta sculpture of a nude male athlete is signed Henri Bargas. This well executed sculpture has a patinated finish that resembles bronze and dates to the 1930s. The base was purposely created of a different color tone. This sculpture is in the manner of Demetre Chiparus.
