Italian Carved Spade Leg Side Chairs - a Pair of 2

Description

Pair of Italian carved ribbon back side chairs with gilded details and a spaded leg. Upholstered in Scalamandre fabric from the 1980s' commissioned to be used on the Papal Aircraft. Gilt thread with mustard gold velvet designs.
The size 35" tall with seats 19" wide and 18" deep

Condition Notes: age-appropriate, very lightly used for a long time. fabric is very clean and strong. The painted finish has darkened and has few small chips.
