Black Forest Vintage Roe Deer Trophy on Carved Plaque 1940s

An antique roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) trophy on a wooden carved plaque. The plaque is decorated with carved oak leaves and acorns. The skull features a pair of real deer antlers. The trophy was shot in the 1940s in Germany. Good condition.
