Blown glass jug designed by John Nickerson and manufactured by Blenko. This design first appeared in the 1972 Blenko catalog as model number 7226S. Large size and attractive amberina / tangerine palette with red and yellow meeting to produce an orange banding effect.
Features Blenko's signature pontil (also indicative of hand-blown glass, as opposed to mold blown).
Excellent, vintage condition.
