Set of Four Mid-Century Black Resin Inlaid Couroc Hunting Motif Plates

Description

Set of four small, round decorative dishes/hors d'oeuvre plates/ashtrays depicting props for a hunt (cow horn and hunting cap) by Couroc of Monterey, California (circa 1960s).
Composed of a black lacquer phenolic resin (water, burn, stain, and detergent resistant plastic) with inlaid wood, pigment and silver accents. There are also inlaid "PK" initials present.
Very good, vintage condition with only a couple of superficial scuffs, as shown along with one rough edge.
Retains the Couroc manufacturer's foil label.
