Designed by Ernesto Gismondi (1931-2020), the founder of Artemide, the Nur has the geometric lines of a perfect parabola, provides indirect diffused light, and casts a subtle halo on the ceiling when turned on. Designed with an aluminum molded body, polycarbonate diffuser, and an upper cap of transparent borosilicate glass. Gismondi is well known for his contribution to the Memphis Group and founding Artemide, and he received a Compasso d'Oro lifetime achievement award, the highest honor in the Italian design community.
In good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Untested and may be missing hardware for mounting on ceiling.
