Description

Inca Empire, ca. 1400 - 1521 CE. Copper tumi having a deer finial, depicted with multipointed antlers, curled tail and protruding tongue. Wearing a large bell around his neck. Custom metal base. A nice example.. 6”H x 3”W (15.2 x 7.6cm).

Provenance: Ex. H. J. Westermann collection, Germany, active 1950’s - 1960’s.
