A finely cast solid bronze figure of the dancing Bal Krishna — Krishna as the divine and mischievous child — depicted in a lively tribhanga pose with one leg raised in dance, holding a ball of butter in his raised hand. The figure stands on an integral square pedestal with a lotus petal base, the lotus being the universal symbol of purity and divine grace in Hindu iconography.
To worship Bal Krishna is to invite the divine child into one's home, inviting with him protection, abundance, and spiritual grace.. 5.5”H (14cm).
