Archie’s Clean Slate was published by Spire Christian Comics and presents a unique crossover between the classic Archie Comics characters and the inspirational religious storytelling popular during the 1970s and early 1980s. Produced in collaboration with Fleming H. Revell and Spire, these comics combined familiar Riverdale humor with moral and faith-based themes designed for younger readers and church distribution. The colorful cover features Archie Andrews surrounded by chaotic scenes from Riverdale, rendered in the instantly recognizable Archie house art style. Spire Archie editions have become increasingly collectible because they differ substantially from standard Archie Comics publications and had comparatively smaller print runs and more specialized distribution channels.
