The "Solidarity" was one of Illinois's premium named wristwatch lines of the late 1920s, with the 14K solid white gold case placing it at the top tier of the production hierarchy. The ornate octagonal cushion case features hand-engraved floral and scroll decorations on the lugs and bezel corners, deeply Art Deco in character. The champagne dial is signed "ILLINOIS" and displays a full Arabic numeral chapter ring surrounding a bold starburst/sunburst pattern radiating from the center — a distinctive dial design associated with this model. Blued steel spade hands and a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock complete the dial. The open movement is stamped "ILLINOIS WATCH / SPRINGFIELD," "MOTOR BARREL," and "21 JEWELS," with movement serial 523966 — confirming production in the late 1920s.
