A Regency mahogany secretaire bookcase base, circa 1800,

the rectangular top above a fitted secretaire drawer enclosing an arrangement of pigeon holes and drawers, with a red leather writing surface, above three long graduated drawers all with brass lion's mask handles, raised on bracket feet

104cm wide, 51cm deep, 105cm high

Condition Report:

Some white speckling, abrasions and scuffs to surface. Fall-front hinge in working order, albeit stiff. All internal drawer is missing knobs. Various large splits to right-hand proper side. No key. Structurally stable.
