“Corpus Juris Civilis in IIII Partes Distinctum…..” by Dionysio Gothofredi, printed at Lyon by Bartholomew Vincenti, 1583. Comprises three works, the first work 2074 pages (last page numbered 2061) including a folding chart, followed by errata [3], bound with “Codicis Dn Justiani Sacratiss Prncipis…Libri XII”, 856 pages, followed by index, bound with “Authenticae Sev Novellae Constitutiones Dn Justiniani…” 553 pages, and bound with “Feudorum Consuetudines…”, 63 pages. Each work with own title, all printed by Vincenti. In 17th/18th century leather binding very good with embellished spine. Internally Very Good, first title with repair to upper and lower margin, some early annotations, mostly in first work. Last few leaves with mild creasing. Measures 7 x 10” x 5”.
