Description
A lot of two stoneware items featuring a dark brown Rockingham-style glaze in the Daisy and Dot pattern, attributed to Marcrest. The set includes a large pitcher and a lidded bowl. Both pieces are decorated with molded relief designs consisting of horizontal bands, wavy scalloped borders, and stylized floral motifs. The pitcher has a cylindrical, slightly tapered body with a molded handle and a wide pouring spout. The bowl is round and tapered, with a matching domed lid topped by a circular knob. The buff-colored clay body is visible on the unglazed rim of the bowl. No factory marks are visible on either piece. A small white inventory label with partial text is located on the interior rim of the pitcher.
