Description

This bronze Sculpture has isolated the central image of his best-known painting and given it the same title. It is an uncomplicated form composed of a melting watch draped over the branch of a tree. The materialization of the flexibility of time and the indivisibility of time and space. In this sculptural the human perception of time when we are involved in enjoyable activities or in work that absorbs all our attention. Time flies, but when we are mired in boredom, time drags. The flaccid watch no longer keeps the time it does not quantify its passage. This Sculpture was cast using the Lost Wax Method and it is mounted on a marble base. Dimensions: Height 15 X Width 11 inches. Weight: 15 LBS.
