The All-New Colorpack II / "We've Made Shooting Easy!" reworks a contemporary Polaroid camera advertisement from 1969 by invoking the infamous photograph of a South Vietnamese officer executing a Viet Cong prisoner, using its commercial framing to underscore the stark and disturbing reality of the image. The second work in the lot, Feeling the Tax Pinch / Stop the War, utilizes an image of a crab with its claws showing front and center to amplify the message.
